  • The 10th Munich Vascular Conference is takes place via a browser-based online conference platform. To participate, you need a stable internet connection, sound output and – for participation in additional workshops – a microphone / headset. The conference can be followed live on desktop computers, laptops and tablets (limited) with internet access. We recommend using a desktop computer / laptop.

    Please find the technical requirements here in detail:
    • Windows PC or Mac (tablet PC e.g. Windows, iPad or Android tablet limited)
    • We recommend the latest versions of your browser:
     o Google Chrome (version 65 or up)
     o Mozilla Firefox (version 60 or up)
     o Microsoft Edge (version 79 or up)
     o Apple Safari (version 10 or up)
     o Older versions of the listed browsers as well as other alternative browsers (e.g. Opera or Internet Explorer) may lead to a restricted functionality of the website.
    • Regardless of the browser type, you must allow cookies on your computer.
    • Internet connection (ideal from 5 Mbit / s broadband or LTE for mobile devices)
    • Speakerphones (integrated or headset)
    • Access to vimeo. (The live stream will be hosted via vimeo. Some countries or organisations restrict or block access to vimeo. Please make sure this test video is running.

    Additional requirements for workshop attendance:
    • Access to zoom meetings. Some additional workshops are held as a zoom meeting. Although zoom may be accessed via your browser, we recommend installing their app for better performace.

  • The installation of special software is not necessary for online participation. The individual sessions will be shown as a live stream on the congress platform. . Some countries or organisations restrict or block access to vimeo. Please make sure this test video is running.

    Additional workshops
    Some additional workshops are held as a zoom meeting. Although zoom may be accessed via your browser, we recommend installing their app for better performace.

  • In order to access the online conference platform, you must first have registered via our online-registration.
    Registered attendees will receive an email with an individualised access link for their first log-in and creation of a personal password. They can then log in to the online conference platform with their email address and previously created password.
  • Your individualized and personal access link to the online conference platform is generated from and tied to your provided email address. Please make sure that you have access to those emails. Passing on your access data to third parties is not permitted.
  • If you have not received an email until Tuesday (30 November 2021), this may be due to the following reasons.

    • The email has been automatically assigned to a different folder. Please check whether you can find the mail in the "Spam", "Unknown" or "Advertising" folder, for example.
    • You only registered for the event at short notice. Please understand that we may need some time process your registration and to activate your account.
    • Your registration was not completed successfully. An invitation link can only be sent to successfully registered participants. Please check whether you have previously received a registration confirmation. Only then was your registration successful. If you have not received a registration confirmation, please register again.
    • The email address you provided is already being used by another participant. Since each email address can only be used for individual accounts, it is important that you have registered with us with a personalized email address. For example, it is not possible to register several colleagues via one address! In this case, register again using individual email addresses.

  • No. The use of a webcam is not required.
    In additional workshops, use of your own webcam is optional.
    However, the online conference platform does offer a video caht function to contact other participants, speakers and exhibitors.
  • Yes. It is possible to get in touch with other online participants via live text / video chat or traditionally by email, provided that both sides have consented to the respective use.
  • You can ask your questions during the live sessions using the "Question to the Speaker" feature. The chairmen sift through all the questions and will put them to the speakers.
